Jon Mitra and Josh mitra are multi-instrumentalist brothers who are both classically trained on Guitar, and are very proficient at classic Jazz and Jazz fusion styles. Jon plays guitars, bass and keys, and Josh plays drums, keys and guitar, and is currently learning the sax. Jon and Josh have debuted as writers for JTC with this 'Just Jam' series pack, and we're excited to hear what they're cooking up for us next!

The backing tracks are suitable for players of all levels. We have a large variety of keys and tempos covered in these 10 tracks. From up beat jams to slower tracks there's a large scope covered, mainly within the soul genre. This, combined with the fact that the tracks really beckon for you to dig deep and pour your heart into your solo lines is what has created the name for this package 'Soul Searching'. Try to pull out all the colour tones that really stand out to you and focus on drawing the melodies out from the underlying harmony. Following the chords in your lines will not only create a very coherent sounding solo over the track but really help to make your guitar lines 'part of the track'. As if they were almost meant to be there from the moment of composition.

As with any of our jam tracks, it's a great idea to really flex your aural skills and let your ears guide your lines.
