What’s it about?
This is Jack’s process when the brakes are taken off. As the conclusion to the Modern Fusion Improv series or as a standalone release, this Masterclass allows players from rock, fusion, metal, and worlds in between to cherry-pick the best of concepts usually reserved for jazz.
You’ll be guided throughout by Jack as he breaks down each concept with video lessons. Accompanying exercises then give you the tools you need to understand how to apply these often challenging concepts. And with licks and solos to learn too, you have everything you need to gain a complete understanding of top-shelf ideas.
Easy to absorb and broken down into manageable chunks, this Masterclass looks to level up your phrasing, your fretboard visualisation and your understanding of the most colourful of sounds.
What will I learn?
This Masterclass dives deep into the waters of theory, goes big on approach and gives you clear and concise ways to apply it all. You’ll discover the magic behind melodic minor and superlocrian, then step outside scale tones to harness every drop of tension and release.
As you become more fluent across the neck and enhance your fretboard visualisation, you’ll begin to unlock new pathways through concepts such as augmented triads, inversions and a collection of arpeggio shapes.
The result is that no matter what’s thrown at you, you’ll always have the resources and the theoretical grounding to take it on in the same way that Jack does.
